Board of Trustees
The Library Board represents the Longview Public Library both to the people of Longview and to the governing officials. The Board is made up of Longview citizens who volunteer their time to help in providing Longview
with excellent library service.It is the trustee's obligation to:
- See that the funds obtained are utilized to promote good library service
- Advocate for the library and promote the best possible use of all library resources in the area
- Improve the existing library and extend library service to those not previously served
Continuing to provide strong, effective, and community-oriented library services to its citizens is an ongoing goal of the Library Board of Trustees.

Meetings
The Board meets the second Monday of each month at 4 p.m. Meetings are held in Council Chambers located on the 2nd Floor of City Hall, 1526 Broadway and via Zoom. Please
e-mail us or call 360.442.5310 for more information. Zoom information is included in the current agenda for those
wishing to attend remotely.
