Student eCards

As of November 2020, all Longview School District (LSD) students, and many students at Three Rivers Christian School (TRC), have free access to the Longview Public Library's online resources through our student ecard program. This program partners with schools so students can use library resources using their student ID number as a library card number and log in to online resources through our website.

For LSD students, the student ID is a six-digit number, for TRC students, it is a five-digit number. You'll also need to enter a 4-digit PIN. The student eCards are set up with a generic PIN. Contact your school librarian or the Youth Services department at the public library (360.442.5323) for your PIN.

A student ecard is separate from a full-service card. To sign up for a full-service card that would allow to you check out physical items from the library, children younger than 13 need to come into the library with their responsible adult and fill out an application. More information on library cards, including how to sign up online for those age 13 and older, can be found here.

Watch a video about using Overdrive with your student ecard here.

If you have questions about youth resources at LPL, feel free to get in touch by email or call 360.442.5323.
